We are humbled to announce that Students Care has been chosen to be featured by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and the Tippie College of Business as the Student Entrepreneurs of the month. We are incredibly proud of how far our entire team has come, and we eagerly anticipate expanding to our second university at the beginning of the spring semester to continue improving the college experience for students with disabilities.
After a two minute pitch followed by six minutes of question and answer, Students Care was awarded second place and best social impact organization at the Rose Francis Competition held by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center.
Students Care was awarded Best Organic Company Runner Up at the 2018 Hawkeye Innovation Expo. It was great to have the opportunity to talk to students and community members and inform them on what the organization is doing on campus!
This week Jacob, Peter, and Michael pitched the Students Care business model at a competition held by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center. It was the first time that Students Care has been pitched at an official competition.
